In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Cary; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 380-9328. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is newchinacarync.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cary follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

From my time living in NY and NC this is the only place by far that serves sweet and sour this small. Compare to what I actually used too and pay for.

Smelled good as I was waking by so I decided "hey, why not let's check it out", plus they had an every day lunch soecials, so I was going to see if I would make it in time. I didn't. It ends at 3pm daily. I figured I had missed it but it never hurts to try, right? Anyhow, the piercing was still really reasonable and I knew I felt like staying in for the evening, so I ordered some to go. I got the triple delight and the small chicken lo mein. It took about 15 minutes to get ready. Inside they have a few tables agree some people were sitting and eating and others were sitting while waiting for their to go orders. The food was nice and hot when I got home. I had to actually let it cool which is nice beverages other places seem to be cold by the time you get home. When it was time to eat the did was delish. It had great flavorand the meat was tender. It wasn't dry at all. The rice was a good consistency. Even though the lo mein was " small" on their menu, it was the perfect size for a full meal! The triple delight made enough for a couple of meals. Def a good option to order from if you're looking for some Chinese food.

Quick and kind service but yes a lil bland tasting. Im used to good vegetable amount, but see this offering wad of the new generation in preparation. Tofu was too chunky and should have been sliced. Same amount provided/paid for, but size effects how it tastes and absorbs the lil sauce. I will try a lo mein dish before final decision.

Love this place. Very clean and safe. The staff and super nice and it is AFFORDABLE. Highly recommend if you are looking for some decent Chinese food for cheap. We love the crab Rangoons and the egg rolls. but everything we have had has been pretty good. Solid 8/10 on the food and a 10/10 on everything else :)

The personnel were amiable, and the service was prompt, leading to an incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared chicken and rice meal. The quality of the food was excellent, and I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant. The only disadvantage is the additional fee for peas and carrots, as most places do not charge for these items. Regardless, I am certainly going to return here for more scrumptious meals.
